Terms of Use
Effective date: August 24, 2026
These Terms govern your access to and use of the Quathos Webmail platform operated by Quathos LLC. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them.
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Quathos Webmail you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.
2. The Service
Quathos Webmail provides mailboxes on your organization’s own domain, with webmail, IMAP and SMTP access, DNS guidance for the domain and migration from a previous provider. We operate the mail servers; delivery to and from other domains depends on the mail servers of those domains, which are outside our control. Features, plans and limits may change as the product evolves.
3. Accounts and organizations
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials and your users’ mailbox passwords confidential. Activity under your account, within your organization (tenant) and from its mailboxes is your responsibility. Data is isolated per organization.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Send unsolicited bulk messages (spam) from a mailbox, or use mailboxes for campaigns, newsletters or automated sending.
- Send phishing, malware, deceptive, fraudulent or unlawful content, or impersonate any person or organization.
- Harvest addresses, forge headers, or send from addresses or domains you do not control.
- Use a mailbox as an SMTP gateway for an application, or share one mailbox’s password across a team or a system.
- Attempt to break tenant isolation, access other customers’ data, or probe the Service’s security without authorization.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, or bypass its quotas, rate limits or authentication.
5. Compliance
You are the controller of the mail in your mailboxes and are responsible for using it lawfully, including under anti-spam and data-protection law such as the LGPD. Where you send bulk or marketing email, do it through a product built for that, with the consent and opt-out mechanisms the law requires; Quathos Webmail mailboxes are for correspondence.
6. Deliverability and domain reputation
Mail leaves our servers only from authenticated domains: SPF, DKIM and DMARC are set up during onboarding, and a domain whose records stop verifying may have sending paused until they are restored. Because reputation on shared infrastructure is a common good, we may throttle, queue or suspend traffic that generates excessive bounces, complaints or abuse reports, to protect the platform and other customers. We do not guarantee inbox placement or delivery, which depend on recipient systems outside our control.
7. Your content
You retain all rights to the mail, attachments and other content stored in your mailboxes. You grant Quathos LLC the limited rights needed to host, process and transmit them solely to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content, and we do not read it to sell anything.
8. Intellectual property
Quathos Webmail, including its software, design and trademarks, is owned by Quathos LLC. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service; they transfer no ownership in the platform.
9. Plans and fees
Prices and limits shown in the Service are subject to change. The subscription is billed monthly through our payment provider, by the number of mailboxes that exist, at the price shown when they were created; deleting a mailbox lowers the count from the next invoice. A free trial, when offered, requires a payment method so that mail does not stop when it ends. Fees for periods already billed are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that any given message will be delivered to or from another domain, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quathos LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access (including by suspending a mailbox or a domain) where it violates these Terms or poses a security, deliverability or legal risk. You may stop using the Service at any time; certain provisions survive termination.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Quathos LLC in the State of Texas, United States, without prejudice to mandatory consumer or data-protection rules of your place of residence.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
